Meguiar's Show & Go Competition

“Show cars don’t have to be slow cars!”

The PTM Show isn’t about big flashy body kits and enormous subwoofers, it’s about genuine performance cars, so we’ve refined our show & shine to allow you to score points for track performance too!

DNR = Did Not Run

The PTM Show & Go hoped to prove that show cars don’t need to be slow cars, and that race cars don’t need to be made out of gaffer tape. So we were looking to find great looking performance cars, and as such, you could score Show & Go points both on the track and in the show paddock.

“How do I enter?” - It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:

1) Get your car on the track either on Saturday or Sunday morning, and hang on to your best timing slip. You will score 4 points for every 0.2 second you achieve below 20 seconds on the drag strip. Cars running 10.0 or faster score a maximum 200 points.

2) Get your car entered into the Show Car Paddock on Sunday, which is open from 9:30am. You will need to have your car in place from 12:30pm at the latest in order to let the judges have a good look at it. You will now be awarded points out of 100 by the Show & Shine judges. 100 points for an absolute minter, and 0 for a wreck.

3) Your points will be added together to give an overall score. Stick around for the Show & Go winners announcements at 3:30pm from the Show Car Paddock.

We’ve got trophies for the top 3 points scorers and superb prizes from Meguiars, so give it a go! We’ll be listing every entrant after the event on the official PTM website. In theory, you could win it by not doing any runs on the track, but we recommend you go for those bonus points if you want a trophy.
